STANLIB TOP 40 ETF
Stanlib TOP 40 ETF Collective Investment Scheme consists of the shares that constitute the FTSE/JSE TOP 40 index of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. The Stanlib Top 40 is an index of the top 40 stocks listed on the JSE based on market capitalisation after adjusting for free-float. Stanlib TOP 40 ETF attempts to replicate the return of the index, both capital and income, by holding and adjusting stocks according to their index weighting.
STANLIB SWIX 40 ETF
Stanlib SWIX 40 ETF Collective Investment Scheme consists of the stocks that constitute the FTSE/ JSE SWIX 40 index of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. The Stanlib SWIX 40 portfolio provides returns linked to performance of the FTSE/ JSE SWIX Top 40 index in terms of price and income performance. The SWIX 40 index differs from the TOP 40 because it only considers the free-floating market capitalisation of companies held on the JSE register. Dual-listed stocks are therefore down-weighted relative to the TOP 40. Stanlib SWIX 40 ETF is considered more representative of the South African stocks universe.
